Girls Basketball  (Summer, Fall & Winter)

Girls basketball leagues will be offered in the Summer, Fall & Winter and are open to girls ages 6-18 and in grades 1-12 as of September 1, 2010 in the following divisions:  Grades 3 & 4; Grades 5 & 6; Grades 7 & 8.  All divisions are based on the grade entering for 2010-2011 school year.

Fall registration is now open.  The registration deadline is August 27, 2010.  The registration fee is $45.  Any registration received after the deadline will be subject to a $5 late fee.  A copy of the player's birth certificate must be sent or dropped off at the Parks & Recreation Office prior to the first game if one is not already on file. Games will be held at the Berkeley 2000 Recreation Center.  Practices are held at sites throughout Berkeley County.  Practice sites and schedules are made to accommodate the schedule of the coaches. 

DRAFTS
All drafts will be held at the Berkeley 2000 Recreation Center, 273 Woodbury Avenue in Martinsburg.
Girls Grades 3 & 4     Wednesday, September 8th at 6pm
Girls Grades 5 & 6     Wednesday, September 8th at 7:30pm
Girls Grades 7 & 8     Wednesday, September 1st at 6pm

Your coach will contact you after the draft. 

COACHES MEETING
A coaches meeting for all divisions will be held on Tuesday, August 31st at 7pm at the Berkeley 2000 Recreation Center.  All volunteers are subject to a mandatory background check.

Winter season registration will be held mid-October through mid-November with games beginning in January. 

Admission to games is $2 per person.  Players and coaches are admitted to their games at no charge.
