Squirt Basketball (Fall & Winter)

The Berkeley County co-ed Squirt League is open to boys and girls ages 6 & 7 as of September 1, 2010.  All games will be held at the Berkeley 2000 Recreation Center.  There will be one game and one practice per week for each team.  All players will play a minimum of 2 quarters per game.  Lower baskets and smaller basketballs will be used for the Squirt League. 

The registration fee is $45 for the fall season.  Deadline is August 27, 2010.  Any registrations received after the deadline will be subject to a $5 late fee and may be placed on a waiting list.  A copy of a birth certificate should be sent or dropped off at the Martinsburg-Berkeley County Parks & Recreation Office prior to the first game if one is not already on file. 

There will be a coaches meeting on Tuesday, August 31, 2010 at 7pm at the Berkeley 2000 Recreation Center.  Interested coaches only...no players.  All volunteers are subject to a mandatory background check.

DRAFTS WILL BE HELD FOR SQUIRT PLAYERS ON THURSDAY, SEPTEMBER 9TH AT 6PM AT THE BERKELEY 2000 RECREATION CENTER.

There will be a $2 per person admission charge.  Players and coaches will be admitted to THEIR games at no charge.

Winter season registration will be held mid-October through mid-November with games beginning in January.
