SilverSneakers Classic – Get fit, have fun, make friends… with this year-round program.  Join the nation’s leading fitness program for older adults (55 and up)! These classes began in 2008 and have grown each year through word of mouth within the community.  SilverSneakers Classic classes are designed to increase strength and flexibility while performing a variety of exercises for both the upper and lower body. Classes last 45 to 60 minutes, for your choice of 2 or 3 mornings per week (Mondays, Wednesdays & Fridays).

SilverSneakers Yoga will move your whole body through a complete series of seated and standing yoga poses. Chair support is offered to safely perform a variety of postures designed to increase flexibility, balance and range of movement.  Classes last 45 minutes and are held 2 mornings per week (Tuesdays & Thursdays).

SilverSneakers Enerchi (Tai Chi) – Perform modified tai chi forms in a slow, flowing sequence to progress balance and focus. A chair is offered for standing support. This is a focused, gentle workout that improves strength, flexibility, and coordination. For older adults, tai chi can be particularly effective for building balance and helping prevent falls. Another reason to love tai chi: It’s generally safe and adaptable for people of all fitness levels, including those with chronic conditions. Research has shown it can improve quality of life in people with chronic pain, lung disease, and heart failure. Classes last 45 minutes and are held 2 mornings per week (Tuesdays & Thursdays).

Anyone 65+ participating with Humana, Mountain State BlueCross BlueShield or High Mark BlueCross BlueShield can receive services free of charge.
