Kickin’ Kids Soccer Clinic
A 4-week introductory Parent/Child Clinic designed to teach the basic fundamentals of soccer. Kids will learn to dribble, pass the ball, and shoot in the goal, in addition to improving their running and kicking skills.

Youth In-Line Hockey
We are proud to say that we have offered this unique and fun league for over 20 years. We hope to keep our youth engaged and participating in our program for many more years to come. Youth In-Line Hockey is offered to boy and girls for those ages 5-18 years old as of September 1st of current school year. This league is offered in the spring and fall, each year. Located at Oatesdale Park, Martinsburg, WV. We offer 3 divisions: Squirt (ages 6-8), Minor (ages 9-12) and Major (ages 13-through High School) and games are typically played on Wednesdays & Sundays. The Adult league is separate from this league.

Volleyball Conditioning Clinic
Participants of the Volleyball Conditioning Clinic will be instructed by Shawn Martz (eight-time state championship Musselman High School Volleyball team) along with Musselman Alumni, Emma Kurnos (Carlow University player), Caroline Shipley (Shepherd University player), Sadie Wright (Kent State player) & Faith Ketterman, in techniques and drills along with game time every evening. This clinic is open to participant ages 8-12 years old as of the first day of the clinic. Pre-registration will be required.

Tae Kwon Do
Overall Program Information:
Students will learn basic self-defense skills such as blocks, kicks, and strikes. Participants will learn choreographed moves called forms. Also, students will learn various block and counter-attack drills with partners. Bag drills will be used to increase focus, power, and technique. In addition to learning new skills, classes offer increased flexibility, balance, coordination, and muscle memory. Our program offers a beginner, intermediate and advanced classes.
- Beginner class: 9:00-10:00 a.m. White to Yellow belt. Basic introduction of self-defense. Students start learning basic moves, forms, and 3 step drills.
- Intermediate class: 10:00-11:30 a.m. Yellow to Black belts. More involved training on moves sets, forms, 3 step drills, board breaking, and sparring. Students are encouraged to participate in Tae Kwon Do events/clinics.
- Advanced class: 11:30 a.m.-12:00 p.m. Black belts. Advanced training/fighting techniques. Some weapons training. Students are transitioning into instructors.

Summer Adventure Day Camps
Berkeley Summer Adventure Day Camp is an exciting, entertaining, safe and affordable solutions to your summer childcare needs. Children must be 6 years of age by March 12, 2023 and must be no older than 12 years old at the beginning of summer camp. Campers will be divided into groups based on age and ability. These camps will help campers “unplug” from today’s fast paced culture and bring them back to the best things in life; outdoor play in fresh air and the building of lifelong friendships! Summer trips and activities will be make for fun-filled weeks for your child!

Preschool Day Camps
We are offering two new, exciting camp options for preschoolers with a variety of activities in the summer! Camp will be held 3 days per week and includes sports, games, and arts & crafts. Open to boys and girls ages 4-5 (as of the first day of camp). Campers must bring a water bottle and a snack each day. Instructor is Lisa Mann.

Mighty Mites Fitness and Games
In this 3 day program, kids will participate in a variety of activities to improve motor skills and hand/eye coordination including running, throwing, jumping, obstacle courses, hula hoops, mini hurdles, tennis balls, agility and balance challenges, and fun games. This program is offered to boys and girls ages 4-7 as of September 1, 2021.
Lisa Mann has worked with kid’s sports and fitness programs for the last 17+ years. She is the former basketball coach & Physical Education Teacher for the Banner School in Frederick, MD and is the Head Coach of our Mighty Mites Basketball and Soccer programs.

All Sports Camp
This 3 day camp is designed for boys and girls ages 6-10 (as of the first day of camp) who have an interest in building fundamental skills in sports and activities. Campers will receive personalized instruction in basketball, flag football, soccer, and floor hockey. Participants will be focusing on skill developments, footwork and agility, hand/eye coordination drills, and teamwork. During our daily breaks we may watch a movie, play games, and/or attend open gymnastics.
Campers are expected to bring a snack, lunch and drink daily.
Camp space is limited! Please note: *A minimum number of participants must be met in order to hold camp.

Animal Adventures Camp
Under close adult supervision, there will be hands on interaction with real, live animals! Each day will feature a different, live animal or two, such as reptiles, amphibians, birds, mammals, or invertebrates. We will explore subjects such as animal behavior, biology, food webs, animals’ jobs in nature, diet, husbandry, the importance of biodiversity and conservation, and much more. Camp will include education, observations of animals, animal feeding, crafts, coloring, and creative play. Please send a healthy snack with your child each day. NO ELECTRONIC DEVICES SHOULD BE BROUGHT TO CAMP.

Youth Soccer Camps
Camps feature skills, drills, fundamentals and small-sided games. Shin guards and cleats are required. Please bring a bottle of water. Pre-registration is required. Spaces are limited to the first 20 registrants in each division, per camp.
The June soccer camps are led by Shawn Lipscomb. Shawn is a long-time volunteer and coach for Martinsburg-Berkeley County Parks & Recreation.
The July soccer camps are led by Ryan Varney – Mt. San Antonio College (Cypress, California) player and current youth/developmental coach in West Virginia Soccer.

TinyTots Soccer Program is a 3-week parent/child program that introduces kids age 3 (as of September 1, 2022) to soccer and movement skills, in a fun, learning environment offered in the Winter and Fall seasons. Parent participation is required. The only equipment you need to supply is shin guards for your child. Fee: $40 per child

Indoor Futsal Soccer League
The Berkeley County Indoor Futsal Soccer League is open to any boy or girl between the ages of 6 and 14 (see registration for division eligibility based on birthdate).
Futsal is an exciting, fast paced small-sided soccer game that is played across the world. Five a side game which includes one goalkeeper for each side, with a much smaller field, mostly played indoors and uses a (slightly) different ball. Players will use their skills and creativity to become more decisive in their decision-making during the game. Player development is emphasized and will give the players the skills they need to grow.

Free Lacrosse Clinic
NEW….and FREE! Panhandle Pride Lacrosse, along with Martinsburg-Berkeley County Parks and Recreation, is offering a youth lacrosse clinic for interested players. Come out and experience the fast-growing, fast-paced, exciting game of lacrosse. While the clinic is FREE, pre-registration online or in our Administrative Office is required to participate.

Girls Spring Lacrosse Clinic
6-8 week Girls Lacrosse clinics are sometimes offered to girls ages 8-13 in the Spring time. Typically they are held one evening a week, 45 minutes to 1 hour in length and are held at North Middle School field. Players stick, mouth guard and goggles are required to participate. Clinics will educate players on lacrosse fundamentals. Focus will be made on catching, throwing, cradling, shooting, and learning the rules of the game. Clinic directors are coaches of the Panhandle Pride Lacrosse League. Fee ranges $50-65 per player.

This league is open to girls between 6th-8th grade and is $140 per new player. New players must submit a copy of their birth certificate with the registration.

Players stick is required to participate (although a very limited number of loaner sticks will be available.) This camp will educate players on lacrosse fundamentals. Focus will be made on catching, throwing, cradling, shooting, and learning the rules of the game. Camp directors are coaches of the Panhandle Pride Lacrosse League. Fee ranges $50-65 per camper. Campers will receive a t-shirt and a ball to take home.

An exhilarating sport, lacrosse is fast-paced and full of action that combines stick skills with running, passing, and shooting. The object of the game it to put a 5 oz. hard rubber ball into your opponents net, while keeping your opponent from doing the same to you.

Flip Over Gymnastics offers a variety of recreational gymnastics classes for girls and boys, ages 18 months – adult. We also offer tumbling, trampoline, cheer conditioning classes, private lessons and more. We have two competitive teams; Trampoline and Tumbling and Artistic. We also love to play with the kids in the community during open gym, and birthday parties.

Youth Golf
Our Berkeley County Instructional Golf Program is overseen and run by Joanne Eberhardt, LPGA Youth Certified Instructor, at THE WOODS in Hedgesville, WV. Each day will feature a different topic; topics covered will include putting, chipping, full swing, rules and etiquette. Clubs available, if needed. Classes are filled on, a first-come, first serve basis. Each child must be the appropriate age as of the date of the first class.

Lifeguard Training
Provides participants the knowledge and skills to prevent, recognize and respond to aquatic emergencies and to provide care for breathing and cardiac emergencies, injuries and sudden illnesses until EMS personnel take over. They will also learn about the duties and responsibilities of a lifeguard and how to carry them out in a professional manner.

Youth ages 3-18
Preschool Swim Lessons are for children ages 3-5 as of the first day of class.
Youth Swim Lessons (Level 1-5). Children must be 6 years old as of the first day of class to enroll in Level 1. Any adjustments that need to be made based on swim skill will be made the first day of class. For all the swim classes, children must be the appropriate age as of the first day of the class.
