Planning is underway for the 2023 Toni Saylor Summer Concert Series! Part of the planning involves reaching out to area community-minded businesses, groups, or individuals as sponsors for this popular event. As a $1000 or $500 sponsor, you receive advertising benefits on our website, social media platforms and printed materials. Sponsors at the $1000 level will also have a full color logo sign posted throughout the series beside the stage. We welcome our business and organization sponsors to set up 10×10 tents/booth to provide our attendees a chance to get information about your business or ask questions. Your contribution is combined with grant money received to book a variety of quality bands and groups over the course of 10 weeks. Sponsors and donations are vital to the success of the Toni Saylor summer Concert Series, and we appreciate your consideration!
While music in the park has been a part of our summertime events at War Memorial Park since the 1970’s, it wasn’t until 1990 that an official ’sponsor’ was obtained and the weekly summer music series began. In 2013, it was renamed to The Toni Saylor Summer Concert Series in honor of long-time Martinsburg-Berkeley County employee, Toni Saylor, who passed away after a lengthy battle with cancer in 2012. Toni held the series close to her heart and put great effort into its success each year.
The Toni Saylor Summer Concert Series is free for anyone and everyone to attend. We love seeing people of all ages join us to watch, sing along and often get up and dance. It is held every Thursday evening from 7:00pm-8:30pm at our War Memorial Main Pavilion stage. This year the series will run from June 15 – August 17, 2023. Our goal is to provide great live music for the community in a beautiful park setting. Some bands that join us are regulars, however, we also like to add new talent to the mix. Our concert attendees cover all ages and come from not only here in Berkeley County but surrounding counties and states as well. We have bleacher-style seating, pavilions, picnic tables or they can bring their own lawn chairs. The concession stand is open to provide snacks or visitors are welcome to bring their own picnic to enjoy before or during the show.
We hope that you will consider sponsorship for not only the advertising benefits, but the positive community impact as well. Below you will find details on the sponsor levels and the second page is to complete and return if paying by check or in office with a credit card. You also have the option to pay online with a credit card or by eCheck (a merchant fee of 2.6% or 1%, respectively, will apply). If you are an individual wishing to donate, you can do so by mail or in-person at our Administrative Office. If you have any questions, please call 304-264-4842 or email Traci Misiewicz (firstname.lastname@example.org).
