Senior Water Aerobics

War Memorial Pool opens for the season on Saturday, May 25th.  Senior Swim will begin on Monday, May 27th from 11:00am-12:00pm (normal Senior Swim hours). Subject to change.  Watch this page and our Facebook page for any updates or adjustments.

Provides participants the knowledge and skills to prevent, recognize and respond to aquatic emergencies and to provide care for breathing and cardiac emergencies, injuries and sudden illnesses until EMS personnel take over.  They will also learn about the duties and responsibilities of a lifeguard and how to carry them out in a professional manner.

This water aerobics class is a free offering to our active adults age 55 and up!  Join the group Monday-Friday, 11:00am-12:00pm at Lambert Pool. We are anticipating that the pool will open for the 2024 season, however, stay tuned for updates and any schedule changes based on the results of the repair work and testing currently underway.

Private Swim Lessons for adults ages 18 and over are available on a case-by-case basis. Discuss with the a member of the Lifeguard Staff once the pool opens for the season each year.
